DESCRIPTION
Includes all the features of the wardCoxRate™
(Stroke Rate, Average Stroke Rate, Stroke Count, Elapsed
Time as well as amplifier). Additional features include Boat
Speed, 91-minute memory storage and the revolutionary PC Download
facility. The user has the choice of 2 different display screens
that can be changed at any time during rowing: RATE screen and
SPEED screen (see below for explanation). System comes complete
with a PC download cable and software to enable the download
of all race data to a Personal Computer/Laptop for analysis,
graphing and even statistical analysis. This enables coaches
and crews to identify weaknesses in race and training strategy.
It is entirely software-driven and makes use of the latest power-saving
technology. Designed with the rower in mind and a simple menu
screen make this system totally user-friendly.
SPECIFICATIONS
VOLUME:
Volume is adjusted by using the up/down buttons at any time.
Controlled digitally providing consistently reliable sound.
BATTERY
POWER STATUS: As the unit is switched on a battery is displayed
on the bottom left corner of the WELCOME SCREEN indicating approximate
battery life left. No more excuses for not charging the system!
ELAPSED
TIME: Displays in 00 min 00 sec format. After 59:59 continues
from 00:00.
STROKE
COUNT: The strokes rowed are based on pulses received from
the magnetic seat switch. Counts to 999 strokes, then continues
from 000.
STROKE
RATE: Shows the stroke rate 0 to 60 strokes per minute.
Averages the first three strokes and then updates after every
stroke.
AVERAGE
STROKE RATE: Shows the average stroke rate over the past
8 strokes.
BOAT
SPEED: Displayed as pace in minutes and seconds per 500m.
RATE
SCREEN: The first display option. Shows Stroke Rate, Average
Stroke Rate, Elapsed Time and Stroke Count.
SPEED
SCREEN: The second display option. Shows Stroke Rate, Boat
Speed, Elapsed Time and Stroke Count.
MEMORY:
All data is recorded and saved for replay or download later.
Capacity of 91-minutes provides ample space for a number of
races. The system saves new data received to any spare space
and does not overwrite existing data. The CLRMEM menu function
clears the memory.
DOWNLOAD
FACILITY: Saved race data can be downloaded to a PC/laptop
via the serial cable (supplied). Performances can now be analysed
and graphed using your own speadsheet application.
AMPLIFIER:
Powerful on-board amplifier ensures quality sound. Input from
fully-adjustable, comfortable coxswain headset.
SPEAKER
HARNESS: Two and three mini-horn speakers are used in four
and eight boats respectively. Manufactured in standard lengths
with an IP68-rated inline connector for easy installation and
transportation. We also manufacture custom lengths as per customer
specifications.
PHYSICAL
SIZE: The unit measures 120 X 75 X 55 mm and mass less than
1 kg. Housing is IP65-rated industrial strength polycarboante
construction, crack resistant and sealed with watertight gaskets.
BATTERIES:
Long-life MI-HI rechargeable self-contained pack. A quick-charge
recharger ensures more than a full day's racing/training after
only a few hours of charging.
INSTALLATION:
Custom-manufactured stainless steel mounting bracket. Full compatibillty
between all our systems ensures easy substitution of our products.
SUPPORT:
Our products carry a manufacturers warranty. Please enquire
